This set is the most illestly broken set ever. Here in my town of Parma we just recieved it. its the most broken set yet. with the overpowered single colored cards-didgeridoo, cemetary gate, headstone, anaba spiritcrafter, and castle sengir-this set will completely change all environments. How will they conclude the oddessy-homelands block. -- By Anonymous from Parma, oh on December 02, 2001 |

You have GOT to be kidding me. Homelands is a terrible set. All the cards are overpriced in terms of mana cost.
Homelands was developed by a new development team and they only worked on it for a few months while most sets are in development for 2.5 years. -- By Hyaku from Ottawa, Canada on July 05, 2002 |

Thats why they made a card that makes you bury all cards from the Homelands expansion. This set does suck. -- By Sean Snyder from TN on June 14, 2003 |

Homelands is the worst magic set known to mankind other than portal and that is just because portal is illegal in tournaments. Homelands has no cards that are any good. In my eight years of playing magic the gathering, from the hundreds of decks that I have built and played, I have never put a single homelands card in any of my decks. In fact, I don't even remember playing against any homelands cards. I see thousands of them litering every common box in exsistance but yet no one plays them. Anyhow This Booster Box would make a great present for someone you dont like, or for someone who needs some other than firewood to burn in thier fireplace. Other than that I really can't think of any reason why you would ever buy a booster box of Homelands. Happy Shopping!!! -- By Nicholas Schreck from Saint Joseph, MO USA on August 05, 2004 |

Indeed Homelands wasn't a good set BUT the booster box is an antique for a collector!!! But my friends i am collecting magic cards for almost seven years(not oldschool but old) and playing for almost four years. I am very pissed off with the new but also boring sets (Judgement was my last new set booster). For me magic stops at mercadian masks and also Torment was pretty good but not enough. So the only thing for me is to complete the collection and playing with old players. -- By Sattriz Lattriz from GREECE on September 28, 2004 |

Yeah, . . . there are reasons you might buy a box other than power. Homelands is one of the top five sets of all time in terms of flavor, and has one of the most interesting backstories and a lot of very good artwork. It has been out of print for a very long time and so the cards have collector value. When they stop making Magic one day, everyone will be glad they have even cards like Leaping Lizard and Faerie Noble. -- By Jose Cohen from Chicago, IL on February 06, 2007 |
