I bring 4 of them in my Pox deck. After Dark Ritual-Duress-Hymn, Sinkhole, then Pox, and Smallpox... the game is so short....

One card that can force the opponent to discard two cards.... amazing! The mana cost just BB that can be combined by Dark Ritual. First turn Dark Ritual, Duress/Thoughtseize, and Hymn... any combo deck will be delayed....

Brian ya hit it right on the head, best common in fallen. A dark ritualed hymm/duress combo on the 1st turn usually totally cripples your opponents hand and with back up from hypnotic specters/abyssal spectres and mind twists, bottomless pits, megrims, the rack, and millstones means somebodys mind is going to be thouroughly molested, put em in top deck mode and laugh while the hyppies dig for corn.

I'm surprised this hasn't been reviewed yet. This card is absurdly good, even too good. The cost of two random cards for 2 black mana is a great deal. You won't expect this to reprinted, except for some watered down version. This is the only good card to come out of Fallen Empires.
