I gave this card a 3 since first it damages you as well as your foe, and it is far less flexable then earthquake witch does the same thing except its damage is X were X is the mana you pay beyond the single red

Simply a fantastic card to build a deck around as it allows one to make decks independent of creatures. But high casting cost limits its use. There are too many ways to avoid the six points to yourself to go into, and so few creatures that can live through it make it excellent for crowd control. This is a card for endgame decks so supplements for early creature control,and permission is neccessary if you want to use this card successfully. When playing competitive decks epect to share one and lose one.
