This is an interesting card at first glance it looks pretty bad at second and third glance it still looks bad. The drawback for this cheap way to hurt an opponent is much to steep for just about any deck, sacrificing all you have in place and ditching your hand, allthough it can be use as a decent finishing spell in a mono-black deck because it get aroud CoPs and other such hosers.

Good game-ending card plus a good first turn card if you get a dark ritual. Otherwise, complete crap.

I love this card. I can't believe it is not more popular than it is. It has got to be close to my favorite card ever. There is no more satisfying way to finish and opponent in a close game than spiting them to death. You must watch out for quick weenie life gain, i.e. Bottle Gnomes, Reviving Dose, etc. This is like a black Fireblast in sleigh Red. If used correctly, it can be an extremely effictive kill play.

I find I must run these in almost any deck that I include black.
