this card is great for the newer artifact editions. just reveal a coupl of arti. lands and you can get your bigger creature out such as bosh, or memnrch. being a 1/2 is great since he wont get picked esilyby a prodgi. or any 1/1. -- By frozenfire622 from Baltimore, MD USA on December 02, 2004 |

forget voltaic contstruct, get this guy out first turn via lotus, solring+mox, mana vault......etc
turn two tap reveal 4 artifacts, or use one of your broken blue spells to get 4 artifacts (including staff of domination) or just hardcast the damn staff and have three artifacts in hand, anyway, then reaveal, 8 mana, cast staff, use it to untap metal worker, keep two mana, repeat process gain three each time, infinite mana, life, card draw and just kill with a goblin cannon on the same turn for infinite colorless damage. -- By niles from ventura, ca usa on September 08, 2006 |

This combo's a stretch but I've done it a couple of times Metalworker+Voltaic Construct+Soulfoundry+Something good like Darksteel Colossus=gg. Or even Metalworker+Voltaic Construct+Tanglebloom=inifinite life. Either way this card is super cheap and that's why I have 4. You just need to have 2 artifacts in your hand and specify that you are adding like an inifinite amount of mana to your pool before you start activating the other card's abilities. -- By Adam from Katy, TX on July 23, 2008 |
