This is a card everyone overlooks as they dog Homelands for being admittedly the worst expansion in Magic history. Green mages, meet your best friend. No matter what the format or environment, Primal Order will wreak havoc on a majority of deck types. Everyone used Rishadan Port. Affinty loves its artifact lands. Look at most of the top decks in Magic history and you will see a plethora of nonbasic lands. Dual lands, City of Brass, man lands, pain lands, Gemstone Mine, Library of Alexandria...you get the point. Primal Order wrecks any player who relies on any of these lands. If it weren't so useless in a mirror match with a monogreen deck, this would be a 5-star card. -- By RKolbasowski from Jersey City, baby! on June 21, 2005 |
