This is a Must have for your sliver decks!! -- By pinkey from M.O.N. on October 14, 2001 |
Beats the heck out of Cromat. Works with Coalition Victory well, or just plain nasty on the table by itself. And 5 for a 7/7 is awesome no matter the 5 color drawback. ever put it into a Dragon Arch deck? -- By mastermind from westvirginia on November 18, 2001 |
any card that has 5 different mana symbols in its cost is not worth playing regardless of what it does. -- By Anonymous from Candy Cane land on November 21, 2001 |
this creature is great, a must have for a multicolor overrun deck. You can take down you opponent fast with this ability, got 10 mana and you got yourself 5 slivers in a turn. -- By Justin from Rapid City, SD USA on December 05, 2001 |
The best of the best! The only drawback is the five color casting cost. Dragon Arch is probably the best way I can think of to cure that. With the five color advantage cards in invasion this is one of the best cards you can buy (especially in a sliver deck!). -- By Treefolk-1 from South Dakota, USA on January 25, 2002 |
what kind of s*!* head would use a 5 color deck... i mean that is downright stupid to have a 5 color deck , youl never have the mana needed to use alot of cards, plus alot of cards a certain type of mana helps them... and if you only have about 4 of every type... put it this way anyone who wants a 5 color deck should w--- off! -- By Anonymous from this card is dumb on February 11, 2002 |
Hell i have an all green deck with 4 Vernal Blooms m(whenever i tap a forest it produces another green mana). Also i got 4 elvish pipers (tap:put a creatre card from your hand into play.So i dont giva f*ck what color it is or how much mana it costs.=D -- By Da pimp from Lancaster,PA on February 18, 2002 |

This card is definitly a force to be recond with. very nice with heart stone and dragon arc. -- By Andrew VanHoose from Jefferson City,MO,USA on March 14, 2002 |
This card has won me many games. I have twenty dual lands in my sliver deck so five colors is no object. It is, as previously stated, good with coalition victory. However I use it in conjuction with a winged sliver a horned sliver and the most annoying of all, or so I have been told, the crystalline sliver. It is great with the heart stone by itself. Then add a Ashnods Alter for infinite slivers. Then put that with the mindwhip or mnemonic for infinite discarding and infinite draw ing. But best of all with the victual or acidic sliver for infinite life and damage. This deck is probobly the most feared deck I play with and it's just fun. Did I mention COAT OF ARMS. -- By Martin Hoop from Owosso, Michigan, USA on March 15, 2002 |

That 9/11/02 Anonymous guy needs to try to beat my sliver deck! -- By Wally from Olympia, WA on March 19, 2002 |
This card is so awesome because if you fastbond, then entomb, and then zombify it is possible to have this badass on the board in one turn, and believe me I have done it this way and won in four turns.. -- By Ben Buhler from Lethbridge, AB Canada on March 24, 2002 |

woopass card. Not even the saprolings were ready for this bad mama. -- By saproling death master from land of the black lotus on April 12, 2002 |

Truly one of the best cards i've ever seen. Whoever says people with 5 color decks can never win eats ass. Sliver Queen, Cromat, Atogatog. Doesn't matter. Buy the vanguard, Mirri. There you go promblem solved. My all color deck also proves useful because i have all 5 Elder Dragon Legends. Yeah you know the ones. -- By Dave Campbell from Pittsburgh, PA on April 27, 2002 |
This card just sucks! One of every type of mana is too much. My goblin-burn deck could kill a sliver deck in 4 turns. -- By Anonymous from Jacksonville, FL on May 03, 2002 |
Cromat was good, but but his kicks the hell out of it! -- By Stuart M from Dunfermline,Scotland on May 20, 2002 |

this card is just plain STUPID!! any loser who plays a 5 color deck are just plain IDIOTS!!5 color decks are the stupidest thing since the card hecatomb.< -- By Anonymous from Los Angeles ,California on June 14, 2002 |

S***** all u stupid people who think 5 color decks r bad Cuz this card + Dragon arch is awesome as well as any other 5 color creature wit it! Also i no people who have had 1000 slivers + Coat of Arms. Need I say more? -- By Kyle Rogers from A Place never heard of in NH on September 25, 2002 |

cromat is as good or better than this card -- By kevin from la usa on November 05, 2002 |

then he can try beating mine. dud obviously doesnt play magic. My deck is actualy a 5 colour deck, no arch, no pipers, just good ol' nonbasic land. took about one and a half years to build and I can say this... FEAR THE QUEEN!!! -- By SlivaYoMama from Wizards of the Coast, Inc. on December 06, 2002 |
now look at john finkel's deck when he won in 2000 all i am saying is that all you need is a two color deck(any color) and a few goloms from the invasion series (like treva's attendant) to put it in play. the mana builders like the thran dynamo can put out the slivers you need in a hurry. i also know that there is an enchantment out there that can protect it from all colors!
unstopible if you ask me! -- By T.G.L from tokyo, Japan on December 24, 2002 |

THE #1 sliver. Combine with gaea's cradle...put 1/1 slivers in...and double them each turn! also, play coat of arms. -- By Matt from Perfect Town, U.S.A on February 09, 2003 |
This card is the best. She just got a huge help with the new slivers in legions. Throw in some mana echoes and coat or arms and pay two and you get infinite slivers with infinite power and toughness. Use a hunter sliver with a toxin sliver and an essance sliver and you just killed every one of their creatures and not to mention just got an infinite amount of life. Just try and beat that. If you ever face it you will lose no matter what you try to do. -- By Anonymous from Ledyard, Ct USA on February 09, 2003 |
THIS CARD ROCKS! ESPECIALLY WITH MANA ECHOES TO CREATE INFINITE SLIVERS -- By Anonymous from Simi Valley, CA on April 22, 2003 |
Simply the best sliver there is, no matter the format. For those of you folks who feel the five color mana cost is poor, just use other ways to play (ie Recursion, or put into play effects).
Now, as for the usefulness . . .here are some good combos:
Sliver Queen+Ashnod's Altar+Heartstone = infinite slivers.
Add Heart Sliver = instant attack
Citanul Hierophants = inf. green mana
Goblin Bombardment = inf. Damage
With the new slivers, the list just goes on! Plus with the new Overlord, you can get her whenever you want! -- By Matt from Port Jervis, NY on August 11, 2003 |
u would be dumb if u dident have one for your sliver deck.u should get won. -- By khrone 44 from bc on October 14, 2003 |

too expensive but very strong. -- By Anonymous from silver spring,MD USA on October 19, 2003 |
This Card Is great!!!! It goes good with a rainbow deck.you wont find any other sliver as good as this 1!!!! Just cast out a sliver overlord and search yourlibrary for a SLiver queen then play a spellbook and you got a huge army! To those talking S*@t bout rainbow decks - off! if you didnt use a rainbow deck with a sliver deck you whould be down screwed! You just need to cast more mana producing cards Its a little harder but alot more fun! -- By Aby from Id on December 20, 2003 |
slivers were my first deck, the queen never failed me. and without it, i would have never won. -- By steven degrenier from cheyenne, WY USA on March 05, 2004 |
sliver queen always has been and always will be one of my favorite cards. there are so many efficient ways to use it in many kinds of decks. There is the ashnod's alter-heartstone combo, (infinite mana + creatures) mana echoes, pulse of lanowlar, a much ignored card which has great potential in 5 color, dragon arch, belbes portal, elvish piper, sliver decks in general, dual lands, chrome mox, city of brass, etc! -- By Anonymous from somewhere on April 05, 2004 |
Slivers are the best cards in the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -- By Anonymous from Germany on April 07, 2004 |
AWESOME!!!!!!! This guy builds up your slivers no time!!! Sure, u say, 1/1 colorless?? Yes, but they're SLIVERS. They can easily become 4/4's with protection from everything, unblockable, life-gaining, card-drawing, and card-discarding slivers. this one does the job of Brood sliver, only better and more reliably.
This card, u want to build your sliver deck around.
Also, did i mention that it's a 7/7 for only five mana?? Whooooo yah. -- By mazk from Chicago, IL on November 04, 2004 |
This is by far 1 of the most powerful card of the slivers; hard to come by but worth the wait. no sliver deck can properly function w/o it. If you play your deck right, no need to worry about the 5 color casting cost. wow! -- By Anonymous from Plattsburg, NY; usa on January 07, 2005 |
I totally agree, the 9/11 guy wouldnt stand a CHANCE againt my Sliver deck. I even threw in the Legendary dragons from Invasion...just for some spice. -- By Anonymous from Harrodsburg, Ky, USA on January 25, 2005 |
I'm pretty sure that this is the first five-color creature ever printed in Magic. Oh, but the card itself? Awesome! This 7/7 sliver is only going to get bigger, and with a horde of other slivers in play, its ability is like making a Akroma's for 2 mana. Oh, and its WUBRG mana cost - just look through the Invasion, Plains Shift, Apocalypse, and/or Fifth Dawn sets, you'll find a good mana-fixer. -- By Anonymous from Wilmington DE, USA on September 22, 2005 |
i am a big fan for slivers. i love sliver queen. -- By Anonymous from usa on October 13, 2005 |

This card is the best i have 1 and when you get it out it can't be stoped. i have a 5 colour deck and i do just fine getting it out just use lots of mult-coloured lands. worth the money -- By Anonymous from canada on October 26, 2005 |

Sliver overloard is better in my mind, but she is good, but very hard to find in my area. -- By Your Mother. from Your Mom. on May 02, 2006 |
Wow. Anyone who believes 5 color Decks suck obviously are new to Magic. If they sucked, why would they even be made? There are plenty of cards that make it Simple to get out. Especialy thanks to the Recent Fifth Dawn set, which FOCUSES on 5 color decks. Just play one Channel the Suns and you have it out. -- By Zygh from Illinois on May 07, 2006 |
this card is Great i have sliver deack and the only problem i have is that my deck is 2 turns slower that any of my oppents but wen the 5-6th turns comes along i would have my sliver queen or my sliver overlord out with my duel lands or with my dragon arc. and plus if u have mana ecos u will win the game pretty no matter what!!! the only problem i have is that i dnt have that many tokens lol. GREAT CARD -- By ||anowar from wellington, NEW ZEALAND on June 03, 2006 |
3 card combo: sliver queen, ashnod's altar, and heartstone. infinite 1/1 tokens. with things like heart sliver(haste) and crystalline sliver(can't be targeted) it makes for a great deck. but when it comes to the "color drawback" people keep complaining about, i find that 4 of each color with 4 farseeks and 4 rampant growths and a few birds of paradise, it makes the color thing a non-issue. -- By boyse from des moines, ia on June 07, 2006 |
Whoever says that this card is a bad card needs to try and beat my Sliver deck! I have all five colors out by the time a few turns comes by, and with my slivers unblockable and having at least 4 tokens coming out every turn, protection from red, black, and blue... Nearly unbeatable! I have only been stomped upon by a deck of my own creation, which was a blue/black discard deck. -- By Bane from Lansing, MI USA on June 22, 2006 |
This is in my opinion one of the best Magic The Gathering cards out there. Not only does it compliment a sliver deck very nicely, but the art work on the card itself is exquisite. I myself haave four copies of it, and I keep them in very good condition as well as play them in decks. -- By Call me Caboose from Oak Harbor on July 03, 2006 |
like in buried alive/entomb and shalow grave/exhume...(black/bleu deck with high mana-artifact speed). Most of the times it was a 3 turn kill using ahsnod altar-heartstone-altar of dementia...
you gotta love it. :) -- By dude!!!! sweet!!! from Nederlands on November 06, 2006 |
An even better card with the new timespiral slivers out! With gemhide sliver in my deck I've been able to get her out as early as turn three! Plus there's an easy combo that can trigger if you have the right slivers out that I've pulled off many times. Basal Sliver, Heart Sliver, Gemhide Sliver and the queen for infinite slivers and as many mana of any color as you need to play other spells in your hand (like coat of arms) That is if you don't think swinging with infinite slivers at infinity/infinity with haste is overkill. -- By SliverqueenFTW! from Arroyo Grande, CA USA on November 19, 2006 |

Sliver Queen plus Heartstone and Ashnod's Altar equals 1 colorless mana for as many slivers as you want. -- By Stuvv from Jefferson City,MO on February 11, 2007 |

Who needs a multi-colour deck for slivers?.......
worldgorger dragon deck;
turn one: swamp, dark ritual, buried alive a sliver queen, and a worldgorger dragon with an ambassador laquatus
turn two: swamp, animate dead or dance of the dead, infinite mana loop with worldgorger, then use the same animate dead/dance of the dead on sliver queen for infinite slivers, and you could use a drain life for infinite as well.
that's game. -- By Grayson Maxwell from Ontario, Canada on April 10, 2007 |
Yeah, yeah, the five colored drawback. Who cares?! You could easily use a channel the suns on this guy. 4 mana for a
7/7 with that effect? Think COMBOS! -- By Anonymous from MA on April 28, 2007 |
With new age slivers, including the Gemhide Sliver, its easy to get as many different colored mana in your pool as you want, making this a must have. Easy to get out, and all slivers get each others skills... master the sliver deck, master the game... -- By Darris from Raptor Inc. on May 13, 2007 |
Definitely not tournament worthy, but fun casual stuff. This + mana echoes FTW! -- By Anonymous from Jurai on June 04, 2007 |
Exellent combo potential, and much more feasable now with the Gemhide sliver. Beware in sliver vs sliver decks, Overlord will swipe her right out from under your nose. Crystalline sliver is also a must. -- By Anonymous from a little east of the middle of nowhere on June 04, 2007 |

who ever wrote that this is not a good card becuse of its casting cost they eat 7 flayvers of noob sause for breckfast lunch and dinner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this plus reflex/ herth sliver, gemhide sliver and basal sliver = pain. -- By Anonymous from earth on June 27, 2007 |

What a stupid remark, U NEED A 5 COLOUR DECK BLABLABLABLA
once u put gemhide in you're the man
and you should ALWAYS have double-mana-lands in ur sliver deck, in case ur gemhide doesnt come in -- By God from Rotterdam, The Netherlands on August 01, 2007 |

what works well is use a homing sliver to get the queen out then use asnod's alter and to top it off use Sliver Legion to amp them all up! -- By Gareth from Lethbridgem Ab CAN on August 21, 2007 |

Sliver Queen + Chanel of the Suns = no problem to cast. -- By Jose from San Jose, Ca on October 07, 2007 |
This card, combined with the Mana Echoes, creats quite a powerhouse (essentially an infinite loop of mana to use for sliver tokens) that is absolutely evil in a sliver deck.
The biggest downside IS its 5 color cost, but the whole point of that is so it is not easy to bring out, and its power justifies it. -- By Ivan Rudakov from denver, CO on November 06, 2007 |
Gemhide Sliver pretty much takes care of any problems you have with this card being 5 colours. I play nothign but slivers, but I don't use this one too often simply because I have better uses for a slot then a big sliver (hell, by the time I drop a Brood Sliver it's usually 9/7 anyways :P)
And I agree, a lot of people who talk about slivers being "noob" need to paly somebody who knows HOW to play a REAL sliver deck. -- By Joe from Canada on November 29, 2007 |

5 mana for a 7/7 creature that can make other creatures for 2 mana. Do I really need to say more? -- By Anonymous from NJ on December 16, 2007 |

You can run an all green deck with five color casting cast creatures, Timmy Power Gamer, Birds and any green or artifact that taps for any color land. Easy. -- By Anonymous from Olympia, Wa on December 28, 2007 |

This Is a great card if you already have a sliver deck. Just get a gemstone sliver (each sliver can become 1 mana of any color) in and its no problem getting this card in play -- By Daddy from San Diego CA on January 15, 2008 |

I have a 5-color sliver deck, and it pwns all. Besides, gemhide sliver makes anything possible... -- By Red from California on January 20, 2008 |

no drawback on this card when you run timespirals gemhide sliver, where all slivers have tap sliver for one mana of any color of your choice. Sliver Queen with the two other sliver legends gives a powerful, destroying kick to any sliver deck. -- By Ragnarok from Honolulu, HI USA on March 25, 2008 |
The only drawback to putting a Sliver Queen in your Sliver deck is that no one will want to play you! It takes a pretty fast deck to take out slivers before they have multiplied and shared abilities, most decks I have played the slivers against cant unless Im having serious mana issues and not pulling any gemstones either (gotta have 3-4 of those in a sliver deck that utilizes all colors) -- By mountainwiz from DenCO USA on April 07, 2008 |

Infinite Sliver producing combo, Sliver Queen with a reflex/heart sliver, gemhide sliver, and a tangleroot or doubling season. tangleroot gives one green mana when a creature comes into play under your control, so tap the just played sliver and use the one mana you got for playing it. this puts out another and the cycle repeats or doubling season, pay 2 get 2 1/1 slivers tap to get 2 more and so on, infinite sliver combo for the win...how bout throwing in Sliver Legion or playing Coat of Arms??????? -- By Ragnorak, Sliver Master from Honolulu, HI USA on April 17, 2008 |

With gem hide sliver (or as I call it- paradise sliver), getting all five mana is easy. Put this down along side a sliver legion and see how fast you opponent folds. -- By Anonymous from Manchester, England on May 31, 2008 |
