Alpha Time Walk

***** Time Walk is one of the most powerful cards in the entire game. Any serious Type 1 player NEEDS this for his deck. Use this card for the extra turn needed to finish off your opponent, to draw an extra card, or just to buy yourself a little extra time.

This card coupled with Regrowth and Gaea's Blessing gives you the possibility of unlimited turns. Try it in your T1 deck...you will like it!

***** Although it`s not as valuable as Ancestral Recall, Time Walk is surely an excellent card for every Type I player! By the way: Have you ever noticed the Salvadore Dali-like picture :-)?!

***** He is right, this card kicks ass, but for unlimited turns, time vault with vaultayic key is better.

***** Excellent late game card, however early in the game, this usually means nothing more than 'draw a card,' in which ancestral recall would be also better. Not a good use of money. And to the person who said voltaic key along with time vault is good, it isn't. The current oracle wording which is used in tournaments makes it so you have to skip a turn to take a turn.

***** best card in the game!!!

** Decent, but just not good enough to earn a spot in my red sly. I gived these to people that just start magic for a small taste of decent, yet never used cards. They can play around with it and experts, such as I, will not look down upon them too much for using it. Once they get better cards it will obviously rotate out, but until then its a nice little placeholder.

***** This is on of the strongest cards in the game.
-- By Dan from CA, USA on February 15, 2003
***** Their is a reason that this card is as expensive as it is, and there is a reason it has been restricted as long as there has been a restricted list. Its because its flat out an incredible card that can be splashed into nearly every competitive T1 deck.

***** This is a great card if ya have something like isocron sceptor and some instant to get it back from your graveyard you can take unlimited ammount of turns for 4 mana per turn... and to mr review #2 timevualt has an errata on it.. you can check at www.wizards.com it works with counters now... instaed of being tapped :P

***** in todays type one: time walk plus any mirrodin or darksttel card with sorcery imprint can make for a nearly unlimited amount of turns. As for the value of those turns your friends might kick your ass if you do that too often...

***** This card is very useful, I have one in every one of my blue decks.

***** oh men, i would kill my brother for having only one of these....no, i`m kidding. Great card,no more i can say
-- By Alonso Aravena from Chile, maipu on February 22, 2006
***** A great card, in combination with new time stop, and time extend, you can make one of the best types of deck: Clones. These types of cards allow you to build up more, also good if used with doubling season and roar of the wurm. <3
  -- By Marc from =o on April 26, 2006
***** The only one of the power nine that should be worth hundreds of dollars. All the others are ok but not the greatest. This one rocks.
-- By Anonymous from NY on June 26, 2006
***** LOL! Magic Masta how can you put 3 stars on this card? Placeholder? It only weighs in at .003. LOL This card is part of the P9. Does this make sense? It should get 10 stars out of 5.
-- By John Doe from Indiana on February 02, 2007
***** This is the ultimate weapon a wizard can have in his arsonal..Simply put, the BEST card in MAGIC.
-- By timewalk15 from Levittown, PA. on February 02, 2008
***** my t1 deck has 1 of these with 4 isochronic sceptors. sceptor + this = unlimited turns. turn 1. swamp + dark rit + demonic tutor (unless this is in your hand) black lotus - isochron. 2 floating mana so you put this on it and use the 2 for the extra turn. hey you got unlimited turns on t1. 5/5 only because i cant give it more stars. best card in game better than black lotus imo
  -- By G from NY on March 17, 2008
***** As all P9(10) deserve, this bad boy gets a perfect score.
-- By Anonymous from West Side!!! on April 01, 2008
**** best card for blue deck I think,if you get like 4 of them you will own every one in duel, but this card is banned ...
-- By gougou from Canada on April 07, 2008
***** A shockingly good card, this is easily one of the best cards ever made. How anyone could rank this less than 5 stars is beyond me. To take another turn, at the amazingly cheap cost of 2 converted mana, is stunning. It's effectiveness after a few rounds is ludicrous.
-- By Lunaticfringe from So Cal, USA on May 16, 2008
**** By far deserves to be in the power 9. However, I usually play Vintage combo style decks with it. In these cases, Time Twister, Ancestral Recall, and even Wheel of Fortune end up being better because I get more cards from them. Don't get me wrong, Time Walk is great, but cards like Yawgmoth's Bargain and Will are "I win" buttons. Time Walk often won't straight up make you win, but it sure does help.

***** Oh... and um by the way, I know I just had my turn and you were hoping to untap your stuff and kill me next turn but now I'm thinking will just go again and untap all my stuff again and pound you into the ground. Watching the blood drain from your opponents faces when they think they have the game in the bag is what this card is all about. Its just plain fun to play with. Don't play it too much though or you may lose friends (also this card has possibly the coolest artwork in the game, They just don't make'em like this anymore!)2 mana. enough said.

***** Isochron scepter DOES NOT work with this card unless it was made an instant since the last time I looked. A real infinite combo that I use would be Timewalk, Soldevi Digger, and Planar portal. Another good one would be Timewalk and Panoptic Mirror. If you want a good combo for isochon scepter try that and ancestral.

***** Best card, Ever.
-- By Anonymous from Somewhere on June 12, 2008
***** This is a great card for any Type I deck... heck, its great for any format it is legal in. For all those posting that they" put this card on a stick.. meaning they use it with Isochron scepter, you are very ignorant people. Scepter only imprints instants, Time Walk is a soccery. You either don't know how to plat Magic The Gather or are cheating with very expensive cards. This in my opinion is by far one of the most powerful cards ever made for MTG.
