***** One of the best dual lands. I always like Tundra and Underground Sea, but this card is also become my favourite after I play Oath deck in Vintage format....

***** A staple in the eternal formats. That says it all.

***** This is actually a picture of Gilligan's Island. If you look close you can see Mary Ann and the Professor on the far left side setting beside the Skipper. Gilligan is perched in a tree on the right center. Great artwork.

***** The Alpha version of tropical island was listed with Mark Poole as the artist, rather than its true artist, former art director, Jesper Myfors.

***** I love all the duel lands myself, but kudos to you for doing a really nice review of this card. The artwork is awesome, and thankyou for your description of the skyline. I had to pull one of my tropical islands out to admire it again. I wish more reviews were like this.

***** my favorite land in all the MTG universe. i've always been a bit of a hot house flower because i get sick in the cold when winter rolls around. so i moved to florida from ohio when i grew up and have been here ever since. but it was interesting to note the timbre of the air and sky when i bothered to notice(usually during thunderstorms, of which florida leads in all categories). my lungs came to appreciate and sense when inclemental or pleasing weather was on its way(or sadly..not). anyway, the perfect funhouse weather, where you go outside and splash around or ....perhaps it should be raining as the clouds are one uniform color very low over your head and the air is saturated with smell and color as you wait for the downpour to hit...or not. anyway, this art perfectly captures that tropical(or subtropical) type of state i hold so dear and the atmosphere is JUST the right shade, in my humble opinion. my hat's off to mister j.m., may his brush never wilt.........
