***** This is an awesome card. anyone who thinks this is bad is sooooo wrong. Especially, because I'm makin a ape deck. A 6/5, with regen, this card is great!

**** Powerful with a cheap regeneration, this is a key item for most green decks.

***** this card is awesome, it would be a lot better with forestwalk unblockable trample or the ability like thorn elemental but a great card and i reccomend it for you!

***** I think the ancient silverback is one of the best green creatures in the 7th edition!

***** i have this card and it is great it is strong cheap and can regenerate it. this card can really be annoying if you are fighting it though

-- By luke from forest on October 27, 2002

**** The best thing about this card is the cost. You can slap it down real early with a green mana deck and it's regen gives most decks a headache trying to get rid of it. The only trouble is no trample, as regen blockers can hold it up indefinitely. This can be solved with masses of green cards.

***** For a green deck this card is a very good greature because cost 4 colorless and two forest, has 6/5 and has regenerate!

***** A cute, fuzzy, cuddley, lovable monkey with a big stick. This great ape also happens to be able to rip off the head of almost anything. Picture a fire dragon getting mutilated by this ball of fuzz. My point is that this is one of my favorite cards. It's very powerful, and can regenerate for just one forest mana. Useful in a deck with Eladamri, Molimo and Multani Maro-Sorcerors, and a whole lotta elves. This is a tournament winning deck and is almost unbeatable if the opponent has forests, which most usually do. Its worth the money.

**** GOOD CARD This card should improve your deck, and is a good card to have in a collection. This card will either improve your deck or your collection. This card is recommended by me.
