This card should not be a uncommon. It is only useful against white. you have a 20% chance of fighting a white. This card is not what you want. 
It gets a sweet hoser card just waiting to be boarded in against an obnoxious White Weenie deck. White Weenie hates this. It is one of the best sideboard cards of all time. 
quick! which color has the most protection from red? which color has the coolest creatures that even if they didn't have protection from red you'd still think about playing(hint: silver knight, soltari.....you fill it in. they're shadow, something you want, right)? give up? then go ahead and play with one or four of these. they're right up your alley...............
