Play it with Grafted Skullcap and you can't be attacked. Put those two in a black deck with Megrim, Bottomless Pit, and the Rack.

wow. discard your hand and you're set! this could be good in a combo deck (one that doesn't need to attack with creatures to win) or a burn deck (maybe running pyromancer's swath, maybe not, since burn decks typically don't have very many cards in hand anyway). but I don't think that it would be good in a control deck. control decks normally have 6 or 7 cards in their hand at all times (esper charms, mulldrifters, suspended aeon chroniclers, think twice, etc, etc.), so it be mostly useless. but in the right deck, this could completely shut things down.

I play a burn deck and often have problems with annoying creatures attacking me and wiping me out before i have the chance to burn my opponent but since i seldom have cards in hand this is the perfect card!

I hate this card just because i dont have it, my freind has it and i usaully dont put (destroy artifact) cards in my deck but now i do. if i had it id be god!

This card is great for control. Gotta love it, although it is pretty easy to destroy. Not a perfect card but it seems to slow things down enough for a deck to take full control of the board.
