A fine card for the greatest hero of Magic! Try playing Gerrard in a white/blue deck with plenty of bounce effects to take advantage of his life-gain ability. Also, he's been issued errata to count as a Soldier now, so try combining him with cards like Mobilization, Veteran's Armaments, Cenn's Tactitian, and so on.

i like him but seems to be missing something... maybe the thing is that i dont have a lot of cards in my hand usually or my friends for that matter... so i dont know... Reya Dawbringer is better

This card is the bomb. It goes awesome in white killer decks. It goes very, very, very, well with the Serra Avatar and Angelic Corus of the Urza Saga Edition.
