*** This card is good. When it is put in the graveyard from play you may put another 6/6 in play. if u tell me this is not a good card u are crazy. It is also a green creature.

**** A nice green card, better than its predacessor rootbreaker wurm (6/6 with trample), but the difference is when this card is put into a graveyard (since is this strong, usually by a spell) you get to put a 6/6 trample black wurm creature token into play. Not bad at all, but maybe not worth a 5 star rating.

***** This is part of one of the best combos ever. Use this card with reya,dawnbringer and avatar of woe. Keep killing it with the avatar and bring it back with reya

***** Even if you think the mana cost is too much you get 2 creatures with it just the sight if this card ticks your opponent off.

***** This is just the coolest card. Imagine a Claws of Gix and a Reya, Dawnbringer for a 6/6 trampler every turn. Or better yet, Jokulhaups or Obliterate everything and you get all your penumbra creatures back and maybe something else if you have Gamekeepers out or something.

***** This has got to be on of the best wurms ever. Another combo could be with fanatical devotion (nemesis): your wurm gets crushed: regenerate it by sacraficing the token to the devotion. A must for any green, creature stomping deck.

**** Yeah its alright, but I mean u can really make a good combo with it, if u think about it u can keep using this card to make more and more wurms.

***** Awesome in a black green spiritmonger deck. have like 4 bad moons out. Have your penumbra wurm as a 6/6 black creature. I had that so many times. Won 2 tournaments with this guy.

***** They can be used with wrath of god, Reya Dawnbringer, and with Braids. The penumbra wurm is also a very powerfull creature a 6/6 double life wurm with trample. Great Card!

**** Imagine....Penumbra Wurm, Lifeline and Soldevi Adnate (Alliances). This is a killer combo. You sacrifice the Wurm to the Adnate. You get SEVEN mana to play with, the wurm goes to the graveyard spawning the new black wurm and Lifeline pops the original back into play at the end of your turn. You can do this EVERY turn and build an army of huge worms....

*** Not bad costs considering its ability. This is for casual play. I would try a penumbra theme backed by damnation. Drop your penumbras, they drop their creatures. Bomb the field with damnation, and you now control the field with your tokens. Good casual card. Fun to play with.
