If you enjoy creating purely casual decks and/or theme decks, this is a nice addition to a Deep Sea-themed deck. Sure, there are better candidates from the later sets, but I much prefer classic cards from Legends and prior, so Dandan is a cheap, quick creature to help stall an opponent's creatures 'til the big Sea Serpents, Giant Sharks and Island Fish Jasconius come into play.

blue beatdown anyone? actually thought about this card when 'quicksilver fountain' came out. then got sucked into the void which is my subconscious and into the crapper.........
