This is by far the best direct creature kill spell that I have ever seen! For only two mana, you can kill any creature, regardless of its mana cost or power/toughness level!! Plus, it is an instant! The only disadvantage is that you cannot kill black or artifact creatures with it. But don't let that stop you! If the theme of your deck is direct creature kill, then I recommend that you put in as many terrors as possible!! -- By Mammoth G from South Dakota on May 24, 2002 |

Quite possibly one of the greatest single creature detroyers ever made. A Staple in any black deck. -- By froggy16 from penticton b.c canada on October 04, 2003 |

Hehe, 1b kills of almost anything that moves. it's not as powerful as chainers edict, but it's still a very nice removal spell -- By random scrub from here on October 07, 2003 |

Who would of thunk it? Wizards needed this card as a staple black removal card. The best one!!!!! -- By Andrew from MA on March 10, 2008 |

A highly efficient creature removal spell. However with all the mono-black decks out there you may be sideboarding this. Drop a couple in your deck just in case. -- By Anonymous from Bay Area, California on October 29, 2008 |
