Any green deck that requires regenerating creatures would do well to include a couple of these incredibly useful cards. For two mana, you get a 2/1 regenerating islandwalker that can be a great annoyance in the hands of the right player. These can form the backbone of any snake theme deck alongside Snake Basket from the same expansion. -- By Adam Clark from Yukon, OK USA on October 29, 2003 |

probably the best regenerator ever made. and one of the best green weenies in the history of MTG. that being said, i have never seriously played with this card for any length of time or in a good deck. but i do play 1.5 alot and i'm almost always guaranteed to see this guy in someone's deck and its a given that he's going to give me problems at some point in a best of three duel. just a super tough creature that you don't want to see across the table(especially when i'm playing my mono red deck). and the typical red/green 1.5 deck he's a nightmare. in conclusion, recommend highly if this is your bag........... -- By Anonymous from gainesville, FL USA on February 17, 2005 |

Wow. I have to say that this is the best green creature there is; 2 mana, 2/1, Islandwalk, Regereate. Any of these make a card good, and you rarely see all of them in one place. -- By awfe from awfe on March 31, 2008 |
