**** Pulled one from a $20 booster box at a thrift store going-out-of-business sale. Kept it for years, finally sold it for $10 at a card store. Came back the next day to see them offering it for $150. My fault for not knowing its value but hey, made back 50% of my investment! At least that store got dealt a harsh deal by the BBB for cheating people out of money. Honestly, it's a great card if mixed with some fast mana production, or even w/o. Hate it or take it, pretty much how these sub power nine cards run. Only 4 stars since I can't stand the mix of 3 mana cost + 3 life lost.

***** The reason why this is soo expensive is 1: It's the only one of it's kind, only printed in Starter 1999, and will never be printed again(As far as I've seen so far). 2: It's tournament legal for any variation short of Standard and Extended. In T1(Vintage) and T1.5(Legacy) every time I see this played it's game over... 3: It's flavor text is awesome and the art is Okay.

* a lot worse than demonic tutor, yet it the price is insane! why don't just use diabolic tutor/beseech the queen and save your money?
