**** Great card, could cost you the game or win it, depends on opponent. By the way, Jason, you can use this on Gaea's Revenge, it can only be targeted by Green sources.

***** this thing goes great with something like gaea's revenge. turn one eight damage, oh, and there is effectively no good way to kill it.

***** Iona, Shield of Emeria. Need I say more?

**** The definition of Reanimate decks

-- By Jens N from Denmark on November 07, 2009

**** this can be a game winning card, how about this, turn 1 swamp, dark rit, entomb, and reanimate, and whatever suits your fancy, me i prefer darksteel, or anything with shroud, or somthing with an ability that gives life, or really messes with your apponent, you can also use buried alive, first turn, drop an anger with the other 2 creatures, and then use reanimate, the creature has haste, and if your playing red, all you need is souls fire or fling, and you can destroy your apponent by turn 3 or 4, very good card, and dont forget if you want to use your opponents deck against them, how about a glimpse? and then go after there win condition?

***** akroma works....protection from black only affects it when its in play. so being in the graveyard its protection is powerless. reanimate is an all around good card, it is the heart of a reanimator deck. two bad its doesnt combo with dark steel colososus, or that 10/10 protection from everything dude (progentius?) [there other effect prevent it from hitting the graveyard :( ] ....buy this card

***** Would be great Grayson. Only problem is Akroma, Angel of Wrath has protection from black. In other words, it can't be target of spells or abilities that are black. And on Reanimate it does say "TARGET creature"... AND Reanimate is BLACK. Still a fantastic card, though.

***** Use it with Ostracize, A specter, Funeral Charms or other discarding cards and you get to use their cards against them. You can even use it when one of your vital creatures dies. You can even use cards like exhume or bury alive to get ur strongest cards out for 1 mana. The combos are endless!

***** Best reanimator card, unless you're playing worldgorger dragon. what does life matter when you've got a turn 1 or 2 akroma, phantom nishoba, verdant force, and so on. Exhume is also amazing
