***** Forest 3 is by far the best forest

**** out of this block of four 'tempest' 'forest's i've always enjoyed this one the most. the 'tempest' lands all seem to reflect its namesake with stormy skys from some aether dimension perhaps. anyway, this 'forest' is the only one in the block with its really cool sky. enjoy!

**** Hmm... Well I'm a bit lost to how this got up into the top 10 best sellings cards of this site at one point. It's a forest afterall... How did a forest get into the.... Well anyway, I do like the little dirt path in the brush. I guess it's just a popular picture, or Christopher Rush's artwork is now a collectable.

*** this was the 'ice age' forest chosen to be made by WOTC to be made into a foil a few years ago. and since this bit of art takes the most risk, rightly so. however, while i like the pink sky, i think the artist went a bit overboard by putting a narrow ribbon of pink in what i can only assume is a reflection of the heavens on a creek or stream winding its way through the wintry forest. without that bit of overkill i think this artist could rightly have been proud of having pulled off one of the hardest colors(purple comes to mind also) in a bit such as this without a glitch. as is, slightly marred although still admired by moi................
