It may not look like much, but for only one mana you get a creature that can block almost any creature and it can regenerate. The flying ability is especially important because there are very few flying black creatures. This card may very well be the best blocker in the game. -- By Hani Ebeid from Denton, TX on June 30, 2001 |

Very good for its cost, but I think it gets beat by fog of gnats. -- By fiesta from Walpole, MA USA on May 03, 2002 |

Undeniably VERY GOOD, but is beaten by the attack power of Fog of Gnats. -- By fiesta from E. Walpole, MA USA on August 12, 2002 |

This card is good untill you realise that it is 100times better to lay a first turn 2/2 instead, or ritual then...just about anything else! -- By Kurian from Sebastopol, CA USA on February 09, 2003 |

To the person above me who doesn't understand why this card is good, let me explain. This card costs one black mana, has flying, and has regenerate for one black mana. Yes the power is only 0/1, but this card can block just about any creature (minus Shadow or protection from black creatures) and just regenerate to continue to annoy your opponents. In addition you can get it out on the first turn! Assume you are playing a red/black deck okay, and you have red burn spells and black spells to damage opponents as well as their creatures. You don't want to load your deck with monster zombies or ogres because you need to have burn cards in there. BAM! Throw several of these down and consider attacking creatures blocked. This card = great. -- By Clark Burris from Rochester, NY USA on March 31, 2006 |

Best blocker in magic! -- By Anonymous from Finland on June 18, 2006 |

This card is good, but it's only the second best blocker in magic. The best is sprouting phytohydra! You don't have to regenerate it, and if you block and it doesn't get killed, you get two of em. I still give wisp five stars. -- By jacob anonymous from somewhere on October 14, 2006 |

I love this card!! I recently bought them and they are nice. I took out my drudge skelotens for them and i think there way better, especially cause my brother has a flying deck. -- By Steven Brown from Butler, PA USA on September 09, 2007 |
