The game materials are nice. The game itself is just plain bad. There's no strategy. No cooperation. It is a D&D themed game, that has no D&D flavor to the game play. It's just a grind of a group of tokens, revealing tiles and encountering random monsters. I really should get around to throwing this one away. Or setting it on fire. Out of all the games on my shelf, this one is the most disappointing. Would not buy again. Will not play again. I would not sell it to a stranger, because I would feel bad about taking money for it. I feel bad for having wasted money on it, I wouldn't inflict that on someone else.

It's a cut above mere "beer and pretzels"....fashioned somewhat on an old 'HEROQUEST' idea of attack the plastic monsters.....(not but design of course...!)....anyhow this is different because it's team-based...not everyone for themselves.....and there's some strategy....If just ONE of your party of five bite the bullet...the whole team loses the game...I like it.....If I had this game in my old game store....I could have sold plenty..... EASY to teach....takes a little while to learn.....great for your friends to get them into gaming....

I love this game. The adventures are well written. It plays very much like a lite D&D 4th edition, with everyone participating in the dm role. I received this as a xmas present, and have already played many times, both solo and with my wife. It took a couple of rounds to get used to game play, but it was really easy to learn. Also, the pieces and dungeon tiles are completely compatible with 4th edition d&d games.

Big fan of the series, get's good reviews online also. Blast, have never had a shipping problem with Troll and Toad. I think that people in Oklahoma don't have lots of mail so maybe their expectations are too high...

We had five of us playing ranging in age from 14 to 35 for hours in the days following Christmas. We all had a great time. I would have liked to see the mini's painted as well, but that is easily fixed I suppose.

rating to cancel out the dude who rated the game poorly for a shipping problem. people decide what games to play based on ratings. don't screw up a rating because your mail man is incompetent. Take it up with them, not here.

Just go this today and I have to say the condition and the product itself are impeccable. Though the minis are unpainted, I view this as a boon of sorts. I've looked around and it seems as though they take to painting rather well. As usual, if it weren't for TnT I would have skipped this game altogether.
