The reason it is side loading pages is so the cards won't fall out of the top of the binder. Great design.

These binders are awesome! The front and back cover looks like 3D Bubble Wrap. If I hadn't known I was picking up a binder, I would have tried to pop them. Lol. Anyway...looking at them for too long gets you a little dizzy...and the binder pages inside are side-loading, so have to make sure it always stays upright (or upside down, I guess would be okay). Color selection is great...I like this grey, but the red/pink is beautiful too. Overall rating - 4 out of 5 (would have gotten 5 if it had all the same side loading pages, or top loading)
