This is a good deal if you want a lot of gold packs, and the box looks real cool itself. But, as a reviewer above me has already stated, the quality of the gold cards are pretty bad. They look fake. However, the cards themselves are amazing. Plaguespreader, Gale, Stardust, etc., are all really easy to pull. Recommended for competitive players.

I have to say... Bad, BAD Konami. The new gold foil prints and new cards in general (from Duelist Toolbox and on) are horrid! I don't mean the cards themselves, but the quality of the cards. It seems that they're trying a new printing method because the new gold foils look absolutely horrible--they look dark and almost look fake. The new common cards are just as bad. When holding them in your hands and sliding them against each other they feel sandy, the cards scratch each other. Also, when you look at the commons at an angle, you'll notice that they're a bit curved. For those of you who have Gold Series 1 or 2 Gold foils compare those to these and you can see and feel the difference in quality. The only good thing about these new cards is that they've increased the size of the lore (area with the card's description). Although this set has a good amount of staple cards, it gets 3 stars for reducing the quality of the cards.
