Dungeons of Dread #05 Young Silver Dragon
Easily my favorite of this set. Based on a drawing by Jim Nelson, it sports many intricate details (including the head, belly scales and paws) resulting in an interesting sculpt. I personally prefer it over other Silver Dragon figures, since it communicates particularly well that concept of noble benevolence associated with these creatures. The only downside of this miniature is that it presents its features in a mostly two-dimensional way, it looks the best from one specific angle and much less from others. Nevertheless I give him 5 stars, because overall this is a nice and wholesome little sculpture that marvelously epitomizes the core ideas behind D&D's Silver Dragons.

This is a pretty awesome huge silver dragon. But given how great some of the other dragon minis are, I can only give it four stars. The design is okay and the paint is very simple. It is more toy-like than some of the other dragon minis and, for silver dragons, is a distant third to the other two (Archfiends #5 (large) and Underdark #10 (medium).
