This card is really versatile. Except when you have a goyf in play and so does your opponent, then it kinda sucks using it because it destroys your goyf as well... but other than that, great card in most formats.

someone said that lands aren't permanents. lands are permanents this just cant destroy them. anything that stays on the battlefield after it resolves is a permanent.

Good card this card can destroy planeswalkers, creatures, enchantments, artifacts, anything that isn not a land is considered to be a permanent it in the rule book for who dont know. This card is so great it can kill alot of the same type of cards that are out at once.

This is one of the best cards in standard and I expect it to be better when Lorwyn/Morningtide/Shadowmoor/Eventide rotate out.

Planeswalkers are permenants, so it can destroy them.

Someone stated that Planeswalkers were not permanents which is not true. The only issue with Planeswalkers is there will not be multiples due to the rule preventing multiples of them to exist to begin with. The card is an absolute beast, and I couldn't ask for a better removal for B/G

Incredibly good card for just 3 mana. It cant destroy lands or planeswalkers (since they arent permanents) but tokens and certain creatures are big now, so it is definitely 5 stars

No matter which way I look at it, I can't think of this as better than Vindicate. Still, it is much more helpful against token decks, and occasionally regular decks, and has colors that are more geared towards acceleration. Not being able to hit lands is a pretty big flaw though, even if 9 times out of 10 you would aim for something much different. Still, this card is nothing to scoff at, much better than Creeping Mold.

An amazingly versatile card. The flexibility of being able to kill a planeswalker, spectral procession tokens, solid creatures and bitterblossom makes this card simply amazing. There's nothing not to like about this card.

Everyone loved Vindicate right? Well now we have echoing vindicate (Oh no it can't target lands but who cares). Now, other than the possibility of a 2 or 3 for 1 in most games, it wrecks most token decks. A downside is that it's in black-green, but anyone and everyone can splash colors these days. It's a sorcery, but it's substantially better than oblivion ring and people run that. In mirror matches you might end up killing your own permanents, which I think is the biggest drawback.

Good card but has a major weakness eg: in that you target my spectral procession token thinking you rid me off all my tokens.
I simply swords / or path it to gain life/land advantage and your spell fails still apart from that will use it in my black/green deck hence the three star rating.
