Commander staple
Overwhelmingly powerful artifact. A must have for multiple decks, specially single and two colored ones. Broken in artifact based decks able to untap it for free. Thankfully it was printed into oblivion.

One of the best mana accelerators in the game after Black Lotus, Moxes, Sol Ring, and Mana Crypt. This card has powered many broken plays in my Type 1 deck. It has only gotten better with having synergy with Vaultaic Key in Time Vault decks. I even play this card in my EDH deck. I have an Alpha and a signed Japanese version. Love the art too!

Can't play 2 with tezzeret, it's restricted/banned in all formats because of how good this card is. Mana Vault/Voltaic Key turn 1 is often a sure win with any well built artifact deck. Great card, though I'm compelled to say I like Sol Ring moreso.

This is a great card. With all of these new artifact decks this card can really do wonders... a quick 3 mana then you can sac the thing to atog... and never take that 1 damage. Highly underrated card.

The drawback is slightly annoying, but if you play two on the field with a Tezzeret, you can get 6 mana and a loyalty counter for free. VERY NICE.

One of those cards that give you more mana than what you paid for when casting it. This artifact can accelerate your mana in the early stages of the game. You can easily cast high costing spells with a drawback of taking a point of damage in your turn. Good card for mana acceleration.
