Nevinyrral's Disk or as my friends call it "The Nuke!" lol!
Way back when I was in highschool, (1998-2002) around lunch brake my friends and I would play a game of MTG to kill time and enjoy a quick brake from class...they would always tell me: "Ok dude you can join us, but leave the nuke out of the game!" lol! Yah it may sound dumb but it is a memory that I love!
Anyway...
This is an awsome card! Enough said! lol!

guess what? even if u have a darksteel forge(i Have 3) if this card drops and activates it destroys itself and the forge because indestructible only applies to single target spells if i play a plague wind all ur indestructible creatures DIE!!!!!!! because it does not directly target 1 it targets ALL!!! so ur darksteels go bye bye

Great card, handy and relatively cheap way to clear the board, though it really shines when you have indestructables. Darksteel Forge +Mycosynth Lattice All your permenant's are indestructable, including the disk, and a single tap of it leaves you opponent completely open to die.

One of the best artifacts. When you dont know how to handle your defense in a mono-black: 4. Nevinyrral is the key.

Way back in the mid 90's I used these is my Black Summer era Necro deck. I owe so many victories to the card (especially against those pesky Howling Mine/Stormind prison decks), that I cannot fit all of my praise into this review. And since it is an artifact, it's usable in many decks. My Necro deck is only for casual now, but it is endless fun frustrating those Affinity players. All their stuff dies.

My rating of 5 only applies if using an artifact deck with a Darksteel Forge in play. Darksteel Forge makes it so that artifacts you control cannot be destroyed. Also, if you have some non-land things in play that aren't artifacts, it can be a good idea to have a Memnarch around as well.

I love the disk! Great in Necro, monored, and control, this card is fairly cheap and will clear just about everything on the board. A must have for any collection.

This is the first card I ever got, so I'm quite sentimental about it...Simply put, no matter when you play this, people will see it and think "Oh CRAP!". They'll quickly use whatever they can to destroy it. I may be wrong, but twiddle can allow you to use it straight away, then you can cast a monster... oh look, an empty field ripe for the picking.

Errr, clearly the reviewer before me doesn't know much, otherwise he would have realized the Disk for its ridiculous board-clearing ability.

Classic card.

Four words: Mono Black Enchantment Removal. I haven't seen a mono black (and very few two-color black) deck without this. It's a bit slow, and tends to attract "Disenchant," but it's a good, solid card for any deck that has trouble dealing with enchantments and artifacts. One final word: if you're playing white or green, you're probably going to have more efficient ways to deal with Enchantments and Artifacts than this. Other colors will want to at least consider drafting it in Vintage and Legacy formats. 4 Stars.

along with 'wasteland' the most used card in the eight main decks that i play in 1.5. and that's not counting its copycat 'oblivion stone.' i play this in my mono black deck, mono red, and 'o. stone' in an all land deck. just great for its generic ability of clearing the board. good against all deck types unless you have alot of bounce or invulnerable stuff. just a good catchall. have to ration myself as it can tend to make you think less about the vast card pool available to you in MTG, and just throw four of these babies in. recommend highly along with its fraternal brothers 'oblivion stone' and the harder 'pernicious deed.'.........
