Zombie Master is a good lord for zombies... but Lord of the Undead is better. On the other hand, Lord of the Undead AND Zombie Master together is pretty awesome. Play with Zombie Trailblazer or Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth to take advantage of its swampwalk ability.

This particular zombie can be a real game changing drop since it's abilites are static and especially when you have a Zombie Trailblazer in play. Also intersting, Zombie Trailblazer's ability can be activaed by tapping and "Untapped Zombie" that includes zombies with summoning sickness.

this card is an amazing card for any zombie deck. it has the ability to swarm which i find really good because then you can tribute them of. the down side is he can be destroyed easly because the just use sakaretsu or a card that switches him to defence which is bad. he can be a really bad draw if youre going defencive.

The Zombie Master. Cloaked in a shroud of death and decay. Leading forth the undead legions of zombies across the land inspiring fear, horror, and utter terror as his hand guides those whom have clutched deaths cold embrace. For a mere 2 black and 1 colorless you have an excellent general and central character for any stock zombie deck. With two excellent abilities. 1. Giving all zombies in play the regeneration ability for 1 black 2. All zombies gain swampwalk As well the Zombie Lord has some staying power as a 2/3 creature, that can come out first round with a dark ritual. Though as good as the Zombie Master is, he does have several weaknesses. The first is his defense of 3, which means that he can be killed rather quickly by a lightening bolt, or a host of any other burn spells that are relativly cheap to cast. I would reccomend a thrall retainer for this character or in the very least a unholy strength.
