Whoa, with splicing this card can be a huge threat! Make your opponent basically kill his best permanent and if he doesnt have another one in his deck then too bad for him! But if he does, thats why god..no wait, that's why the designers created splicing!

I like to use this with my planeswalkers. If one is going to take lethal damage I target it with Reweave and get a new one instead that is not being attacked; or I cast it after burning up all but 1 loyalty and get a fresh planeswalker and activate which ever ability suites me best.
I like the concept of the card, but I don't think it's all that great due to it's CMC and the art sux.
