I run these guys in my cumulative deck w/ power conduits... During upkeep tap power conduit to chomp upkeep counter and turn it into +1/+1 counter on 'em w/o paying it's upkeep cost. ;)

Forget about the upkeep cost. This guy is an 8/8 for 3 mana...find a way to stomp some face with him. Mass Hysteria and/or Lightning Greaves come to mind. How about Fling for 8 damage? Turn him into a huge Ball Lightning-type creature.

This card is soooo made to be played with mirrodin, because imagine sacrifcing tons of the little modular cards or any of the better artifact creatures that are better dead than living. That being said he is missing trample but giving that to him would make him broken and too pwoerful so thats what they made enchacments for.
