A black creature with trample is a rarity indeed, and it has a pretty good casting cost for a black monster. Its secondary ability is nice, but can work against you if your strategy may involve returning gravebound monsters to play. Even still, you can still 'un remove them from game' in order to power the void maw up. Its trample ability will also come in handy here.

That equals death to your Void Maw. Whispersilk Cloak grants shroud, and Damnation (destroy ALL creatures) will destroy your Void Maw, because 'ALL' is not a target. Nice card, some kitchentable matches have been won by a sudden Void Maw. It grows insanely big, lategame with three players. It's definitely the trample what makes it so dangerous.
