trickbind is also really good but yes the one mana price does indeed justify the price tag this card is ridiculus! eater of days, dreadnought, leveler, paralaax tide, against fetch lands, anything! just to name a few!

This thing is flawless. Pricetag may be a little high, but in my opinion it is justified for its versatility. the one mana cost really makes a difference for me when I use it with Parralax Tide. 5 mana, 5 lands removed from the game! The most efficient land destruction combo, and its blue! fanstastic card.

absolutely ridiculous card! ludicrous possibilities, example: first turn play land and chrome mox, (or any other mox if ur fortunate enough), then play phyrexian dreadnaught and stifle it - 12/12 trample turn one. thats prbly GG, but better give it alexi's cloak or Aspect of Mongoose next turn just to be sure :)

mix this with phyrexian dreadnought and on 2nd turn 12/12 trampler thats over powered thats basicly game unless they wrath of god or damnation but that won't happen for a while so you will still give at least 19 damage before they can destroy him

Play illusions of grandure first, and then stop the giant life loss. You just got twenty life for five mana. Aside from that, there are hundreds of usefull situations that this card turns up in.

I'll make this short and sweet. I bought about 10 copies of this gem when it hit the market, even while I herd that it was overrated. I see now that I was right in my chioce, because it is so powerful in it's own right. You should know by now about the final fortune combo...But that's not even as good as the dreadnought combo!!! counter the coming into play ability and you have the match...Better than spending 100 bucks on the mask. Pick up this one of a kind counterspell before prices get out of hand. Don't say I didn't warn you!!!
