so amazing!! faerie conclave gives a 2/1, the red man-land gives a 2/1 with first strike, and white gives a 1/5 with vigilance...this is so much better than any of those! but coming into play tapped can really hurt a deck with a good curve. a turn 1 elves or birds followed by this on turn 2 still gives you two mana, but...it's still kind of a downside. these just don't fit in every green deck, but they're *awesome* in a deck that they do belong in (like for example, any deck with garruk)

This land also makes a great mana-dump, whether it's tapped or not: "Oh, I have an Eladamri's Vineyard and a Magus of the Vineyard in play, giving me an involuntary GGGG. I'll animate my Treetop Village twice. woo!"

A nightmare of blue decks: a 3/3 trampler that cannot be countered

play with this in an all land deck with this being the only 'colored' mana along with 'pendelhaven' and 'centaur garden.' alot of fun especially with its trample ability. have always wanted to pull off the 't. village' and 'c. garden'
off but it happen much less than you might think..*sigh* anyway, this foil is beautiful and i like it better than the DCI version which i think is a bit crass. i think alot of people agree as this site rarely has any for sale without them getting bought almost immediately.........

It comes as no surprise to me that no one has commented on this thing in well over a year. ... I have tried many times to get people to realize that the fact that a card was once part of a high-powered tournament deck doesn't automatically mean it is a great card. This thing is a perfect example of an over-rated card that is average at best.
