this is soooo insane! notice it says "card" not "creature" for its ability. which means if you scar an animated treetop village and murderous redcap it in the same turn in that order, you get it! in a wither deck this just hurts. it's also a 1/4 blocker with wither which is not bad. combined with soul snuffers and quillspike it's ultimate pwnage.

This is the sickest card I have seen in a while. I have made a -1/-1 deck from the last set and seeing this blows me away. Any one looking at this you need to check out this card (( Phrrhic Revival )) And (( Soul Snuffers))

It's amazing that this was considered a trash-rare for quite some time until a certain Jacob van Lunen revived this card with a couple of Building on a Budget decks ... now Necroskitter on average costs at least 6 times of what it used to, so I'm not sure that it's very budget anymore...

Still an amazing card when played in the right deck, and being outside of 'bolt range really helps.

it's sweet with crumbling ashes
