This card is simply Amazing. Flying, First Strike, and you can pump it. The only problem i see with it is i don't have a playset of 4. Troll and Toad get more in stock!!!

I like how all the negative reviews on this guy is "he's good but he can't be enchanted".
So what who even enchants creatures in standard that's how u get two for oned

Quite frankly this guy is a beast in the metagame

I think this card is a beast

Its almost a type 2 morphling.
It has pertecton from 2 of the 3 colors that destroy creatures (it gets beat down by red, sideboard out).
It ignores bitterblossom (big plus) and wrecks the rest of the blue fairies by giving it first strike.
it also picks apart kithkin and pretty much any aggro tempo deck, due to its first strike ability and pump ability.

Its anything you need it to be.

Versatile, kicks butt, but it's enhanced proection means it can't be targeted with white/ black enchantments such as the black white deity aura... Pretty awesome though...

To some one from Scranton, PA on July 23, 2009:

It doesn't target itself. The abilities don't use the name 'target', so this creature has essentially 5 good abilities. Protection, which is pure awesomeness for Pestilence-decks, works against Past to Exile, pumps itself like the good old Order of the Ebon Hand, and... maybe sickest of all; gives itself flying. I like how it's a hybrid black-and-white card. It has flavor written all over it. These cards are why I love magic so much.

This is a nice card but not really worth it unless its against fearies. Just too much cost for the card to activate the abilities to be useful. The 2/1 power toughness is too much a disadvantage for my liking to easy to kill and non enchantable in a black/white deck. Personally I invested in Evershrike

This card,to me,maybe I'm missing something...is horrible. Protection from white and black...which it is and which all it's self-targeting abilities are.....
