I have beaten the pants off of people with this. Combined with Madness mechanic you can simply hose your opponent's hand while getting a solid Madness medium. Call to the Netherworld, Grave Scrabbler, Strength of Lunacy, Gorgon Recluse, Brain Gorgers, Big Game Hunter all work wonders and stay in the mono-color scheme(Splash a little Green for Basking Rootwalla and it's pump ability). Also Combined with Phyrexian Arena for card advantage; you will be quite hated.
