I like all the abilitys that this creature brings to the game. This is one of the best cards to go into a 2 color deck or maybe even a 3 color deck, but i ussually use it in a 2 color deck. I really like the black ability and the green one makes your creatures unbeatable.

The Masters from Invasion were a pretty lackluster cycle of rares, but they're splashy enough to make you think about how to utilize them. With three-color decks easier to build than ever thanks to Alara block, you might want to take a second look at this cycle. Thunderscape Master is probably the best of the lot in my opinion, and its green ability meshes well with Alara's B/R/G theme of pumping out swarms of tokens.
