Solitary Confinement, Squee Goblin Nabobs, Compulsion, Archivist, and Sterling Groves. Use the Squee's for Solitary Confinement and Compulsion. Get two Sterling Grove out and then Solitary Confinement can't be destroyed and you can't lose.

It might as well say you win, with genesis, sterling groves, jayemdae tomes/Minds eye/Archivist and a wall of countering spells it can sneak into play and stay there, how you win is up to you and theres alot of choices. Mill/Grindstone, sulfuric vortex, and/or some unblockable creatures(phantom warrior,Plasma elemental) not since stasis And kismet has there been a better way to lock em' up and throw away the friggin key. DONT DROP THE SOAP!!!

First, the Confinement, Spellbook and Archivist would not make you invincible. The Archivist would draw out
your deck and you would die. Plus, if anybody killed the little guy you'd be screwed. Second, Genisis and the Confinement make an amazing combo. Cycle Genisis back to your hand every turn, then discard him to Confinment! Then your invincible.

What an absolute amazing lockdown card. With archivists and lots of counter you are invincible. Use this with squee or genesis and they might as well say goodnight.

this is a very good card. This would work good on its own but if you combine it with a spellbook (no maxium hand size) and archivest (tap: draw a card) you would be unbeatable.

This is a great card, the best way i have found to use it is with oath of lim-dul. you could even use fountain watch and spiritual asylum, so that they cant kill you cards. i would have to give it 4 stars

Solitary Confinement is a pretty bad lock down card. The best way is to combine it with Genesis; but, however what happens when someone disenchants it. Plus the card doesn't allow u to draw so that means you must find another card to give you the drawling opportunity. If you play with Confinement, you might want to add Fountain Watch to protect it. :)

To the person above: Yes, that combo can be beaten. Your enchantments may not be able to be TARGETED, but they are vulnerable to mass removal (Tempest of Light, anyone?)

Oh, and the best use for this card? Kicking your feet back and waiting, to charge Luminarch Ascension.
