This card works great in conjunction with Mana Flare and Circle of Protection Red. Use the extra mana from the Mana Flare on the Cirlce of Protection to protect yourself from the Manabarbs and watch everybody else suffer when they tap their land.

This is a tricky card to use. It can seal the deal for red decks if they're already ahead. For example you cast a few quick early burn spells, drop this card then it's just a war of attrition. You can also use this in conjunction with red (Sisters of the Flame) or green for creatures that produce mana for you.
