There is no comparison when u say this card vs. crusade. This is hands down better any day of the week. Watch what this card can do for white weenies...let alone the bigger white cards like banes layer..(i think a 6/6 life linker will stomp through its mirror (baneslayer vrs baneslayer)) top this off with cars like path to exile to remove chump blockers...this card is a "must" for ww, and "playable" for any other deck that runs mono white creatures. whats cool though is if u add this card with the phantoms from judgment (phantom nomads, ect) it will turn them into little mini "dawn elemental"s hahaha (they auto prevent damage but wont die after last counter is removed, even with no counters they auto prevent damage)...this card is sick....for best legacy type results i recommend honor of the pure in conjunction with crusade

This card is stupidly overpowered. It is clearly superior to crusade, and in a white weenie deck, leaves glorious anthem for dead also (as we all know, 1 white mana could mean the ability to cast an additional Serra Avenger or Jotun Grunt). What where WoTC thinking when they created this card? lets take crusade, drastically improve it, and then make it easier to play? as i said before, stupidly overpowered

A great card for white weenies. One of the reasons white is broken in M10.

BTW: Crusade effects all white mobs, this only effects yours so its better.

...you can only use crusade against an opponent using different color other than white, cause you may not like to buff their white creatures too right?? that is why honor of the pure is better, although crusade could be useful if you control more white creature than your opponent, you should be wise on when it is needed to be thrown ok..

^This card in not like Crusade!!! Crusade gives your opponents white creatures +1/+1, not to mention, Crusade costs 2 white mana, when this card costs 1 colorless and 1 white. This card will always be worth more than crusade because of those 2 things.

Not to mention, this card is type 2 legal, and we both you, if you had a choice, you would not pick Crusade over this card.

There is a huge difference between this card and crusade Kith. Crusade gives all white creatures +1/+1 while Honor of th ePure gives only your white creatures +1/+1. This mixed in with the M10 soldiers makes for a solid deck. I lucked out because I just got back into Magic and didn't want to have to buy anything before M10 since most of it would be going out soon and this helped boost my white deck to where it can compete.

Wow. All I can say is Wow. What was wizards thinking with the Soldier love in M10. You have W costing 2/1 soldiers that isn't a rare (Elite Vanguard), a soldier that gives all other soldiers first strike (Rhox Pikemaster). Another that brings 9 power over 4 soldiers giving all soldiers vigilance for 6 mana (Captain of the Watch), the Veterans Armorsmith giving all soldiers plus 1 toughness and the Swordsmith giving plus 1 to all soldiers' power. Mix this with Ajani giving +1/+1 and then Elspeth putting out another soldier every turn, possible a 4/4 first striker with vigilance. You could have a swarming White Weenie deck that has no weenies. All of the creatures could easily be 4/4 or higher. Absolutely Ridiculous!!!!!

This is a great card. Power wise, it sits somewhere between Crusade and Glorious Anthem. The color dependency offsets the extremely low mana cost of this enchantment. Still, it's an automatic 4 of for any white weenie/white token deck.

I feel Glorious Anthem has a slight edge over this card, at least if one were to add it to a cube due to its flexibility. However, I can see for a white weenie focused deck, this card would be superior because it is easier and quicker to cast.
