Being able to copy your spells is probably this card's best asset. The ability to ping creatures and players is nice, but her ultimate disappoints a bit compared to other planeswalkers - she basically burns all creatures your opponent controls and slaps him/her in the face for 6. While this sounds (and is) powerful, it's pretty plain and dull compared to the ultimates of other planeswalkers (compare to Koth, Venser, Jace, Chandra Ablaze etc.)

To avoid confusions
Wizards rulings: When you activate Chandra''s last ability, you choose up to six target creatures and/or players. No damage is divided, and Chandra can''t deal more than 6 damage to any one target. Chandra deals 6 damage to each target that is still legal when the ability resolves.

This card is(in my opinion), the best incarnation of Chandra. Yes, her original's final ability was amazing, but Firebrand's final doesn't say the 6 targets have to be the SAME target. It just says up to 6 target players or creatures. Furthermore, you're able to ping both players AND creatures? Plus, her -2 is invaluable for red. So many times I've seen a red deck bring someone to 3 or so, and then lose. If they had Chandra and copied several of the burn spells at red's disposal, it would seal the deal.

The King in my extra turns deck. 12x copies of extra turn spells, a bit of counter spells, and creatures that care about instant/sorceries being cast or in the bin. Abuse the -2 ability, +1 on the extra turns and swing w/ creatures, then setup the next 2 extra turns: Repeat. Have only used the -6 once... had the win already w/o but said wtf~

wow!!! the first plainswalker with only one solid color in its cost!!!!
this can and will be used in many many decks, from contol to aggro..
copying instants and sorcerys is gonna be so much fun... can anyone say "goblin decks" with her and goblin grenades? or 0 drop artifacts and artilerize? with some mana ramp and draw, its gonna be fast
and the ultimate god ability? well... if it goes off, you might as well scoop...
i give it a 4 in stars because of the low loyality counters when it comes into play and you better proliferate alot to use her to her best...
keep it up wizards, your doing great!!

Pro: Ability
Con: Low loyalty

With a loyalty of 3 Chandra, The Firebrand is a hard one to keep in play. This is what I would do: Save her til you have enough mana to cast her and a powerful Instant or Sorcery so you can twin it in the same turn. The best 1-2 punch for this Planewalker is Sorin's Vengence. That creates an immediate 20 loss of life to your opponent and you will gain 20 life. [Taken from the WotC M:TG page] Personally I have only been able to go as far as making a twin of Pyroclasm, but I was getting eaten alive by creatures and it was enough to wipe all of them out of play to give myself some breathing room [still lost].
