This was my first deck. I almost won the first match I had against an affinity deck with this If I had not given him leeway with a turn. This deck is great with the many additions in the Kamigawa block, and will be better when you add cards from other blocks as well, if you plan to use it in Legacy type 1.5. This deck was - and still is - my flagship deck.

This deck is awesome, and very powerful for a precon. Could use some tweaking, because there are a few too many of the more expensive cards, and it could use a few more cheap cards (although the Devoted Retainer costs 1 White, is 1/1 and has Bushido, so it's indespensible). A great deck nonetheless, I would give it 4 stars, but I gave it 5 to make up for the people who think that they're too cool to say why this deck only deserves one star, other than the fact that it's "overrated." They probably haven't even tried the deck.

Man this is a great deck to experiment with considering that the bushido is also comes in some of the black cards and putting them together makes a wicked combonation. Throw in some good spells and you got a deck that can hang with the best.

The bushido ability is awesome!! It gives your samurai a lot better value in terms of mana. The samurai can also have vigilance (which finally is its own keyword ability, instead of "attacking doesn't cause it to tap." THANK YOU!!) And the legendary samurai work well to power up the regular ones (i.e. Kondas Hatamoto) the best deck in Champions. Period.

Hey. The Samurai are awesome creatures. They brought a lot of fun to the game. That's right. F-U-N. A lot of people forget that Magic is supposed to be played for fun. But no. This deck is a great intro to the game, and powerful for a precon.

By the way, you want to know one good way to stop ANY DECK? Traumatize... Game. Set. Match... Boring. Traumatize is WAY too overrated and overused. Try playing a REAL game.

I just started playing magic, and my friends have been playing for years! I didn't know what kind of deck to get, and I've herd that the deck way of the warrior, is a rushen deck. So I'd thought I will get that deck, so I did. I kept getting owned going 1-5, because i didn't know how to play that well, or didn't know what sum cards did. After the 5th loss of getting owned, I've learned a lot during those 6games, and then i went 2-5, 3-5, 4-5,6-5. I recomind this deck!

Please...the samurai are overrated and used far too often. This deck is only good against someone who's deck loses more times than it wins. Want to know what takes this deck out fairly quickly? That's right, Traumatize, which takes half of the opponents deck and puts it into the graveyard. Game, set, and match.
