Rishadan Port

I much prefer Winter Orb or Mishra's Helix to either slow my opponent down to a crawl or tap them out during their upkeep. Once it gets going my only fear if my opponent plays Nature's Claim or Abolish.

I owned a playset before, then traded 'em for Tarmagoyfs and an Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth(Best trade I've ever done!). This card only dominated when I was up against Gaea's Cradle, Tolarian Academy or a multi-colored deck that needs 1 specific color to get the deck rolling--Lock down that land! I can see potential with this both in early and metagame when you have spare mana to blow, but with the majority of my builds it only slowed down my kill... I guess I need to play more control and less aggro to really get the benefit of this Power Land*sigh*

This is so awesome. Try playing this card in conjuntion with icy manipulators and they might as well say goodnight:)

this card is very useful. it saw much play, especially in the block tourneys, and rightly so. turn one weenie decks drop a remote farm, turn two a longbow, drop a port. turn three you hit them with the longbow and when its there turn, port them and chant them. as long as you put mana out next turn that longbow will deal probably eight damage before they even get a chance to get rid of it. plus youll be dropping weenies in between, maybe pop a spirit link on a creature or an empyrial armor. but it doesnt stop there. fires decks can really use this card too, to tap those pesky islands to ward off counterspells. great card.

i remember those olden days when all people did was 'port the 'port. and on your upkeep 'port this and that. <> not quite as powerful today, but still potent, i only use this in one deck at present. now before you get upset and tell me off over the low rating, i just want to say i play 1.5 and the vast land selection(or pool if you will) alot of times leads to a different choice. oh, and did i mention a BEAutiful foil that appreciates most nicely from its non-foil counterpart, almost a different card in fact........
