This card is a game winner!! Keep it out 1 or 2 turns and the game should swing totally your way. I love it in Standard as well as Modern Grix control

friend of mine runs a B/U/W Recursion with 4 of these, FoW, Careful Study, Foil, Entomb and the rest is typical Recursion build; I.E.: Inkwell Leviathan, Sharuum the Hegemon, Magister Sphinx, etc. Just can't beat all the alternate casting cost Counterspells and turn 1-3 Fattie(s) especially this with the huge card advantage it gives so he can afford to discard/exile to counter a spell

A must for any EDH (commander) deck that has blue in it. A 4/6 for 6 with flying is already a good thing, but being able to draw two whenever an opponent draws one is awesome. Plus since it's EDH you can use helm of awakening, cloud key, sapphire medallion, and other spells like them to reduce it and all of your other cards cost.

I wonder if Arcane Denial will start being played more with this? Definitely a lot more insulting.

I pulled two at the release. This card helped me win first place. A steady hand advantage, while running a blue/white control... that's powerful. Also combine with Psychosis Crawler, and now, not only do you have a hand advantage, but every time you draw, your opponent loses 1 life. Good combo in my opinion.

Do you realize the power this card wields! Im an old school player and drawing cards is the most potent ability in the game. To draw 2 cards on your opponent's turn, and make him/her think twice about playing cards to draw for themselves, that's power!!! I want 4 ASAP!!!
