At Second Glance
The effectiveness of this card escaped me at first. Having Hexproof & Regenerate is as good or better than Invulnerability &/or Protection. Avoids global destroy spells w/ Regenerate & targeted exile spells w/ Hexproof. Crazy!

Got one at the prerelease. Didn't think much til playing against a blue/red deck and this card flipped the entire game around. Thrun hit the table and I became unstoppable haha!

A great awesome card. i find it pretty funny that out of the 5 packs i have opened from Mirrodin besieged including the ones from the pre release i pulled 3 of them anyway only reason i rated it 4 stars is its vulnerability to infect if it wasn't i would of given it easily 5 stars. anyway great card good in standard even better in any other format.

I hoped he would have some good abilities and thank Chuck he does. The main point is the uncounterable ability. For all players of the future. Thrun came at a point where Control was whupping asses. This is the offense us beatdown deck playing men need !!!
