Chrome mox has to be one of the kewlest cards out there (with the exception of Power 9 and the allmighty Black Lotus) its kinda like and extra mana on turn one, and it STAYS there until destroyed. The posibilities! I've been wooped by this cards so many times it's not even funny. No, really, it's not. I.E. in and enchantress deck on turn one: Forest, Chrome Mox, discard aaaa....monstrous growth, play Evlish Pioneer, play another forest, then whip out an Argothian Enchantress. incase you cant count thats 3 forests, and 2 creatures one of which can't be countered. well i g2g, hope you enjoyed my very first review EVER. Chao!

This is a great card. I find that it is extremely flexible, good for any deck. Much like the original moxes, this card can replace mana in a deck. It provides excellent mana acceleration. I just hope it doesn't become restricted in tournaments too soon!

Possibly one of the BEST cards for a multi color deck. I play a Sliver deck and with cards like Sliver Queen and Sliver Overlord, you have a 5 color tapping card possible on the OPENING TURN!

The only downer is that they are going to restrict it as of January for Type 1.

A very very good card. A must have in a multi color deck. However if you intend to use it to replace lands like the use of original moxes, then your out of luck. Removing cards from your hand doesn't give you the acceleration the original moxes do. Doesn't work in all decks, but a must have if your using colors like blue which requires a lot of colored mana.

While it's a very good card, especially for decks that rely on speed, it isn't nearly as good as Mox Diamond. It is overrated in some ways; I don't think many people would use it in T1, only extended. It is a worthy addition to most decks in extended.

A good card, But only for multicolor decks. I have three of them in my deck, pulled them all out in my first hand with three useless creatures, next turn i had already four mana out. but i will continue to say that its only good for multicolored decks.

good price for this card... considering most places ask 20 for them... fast mana is good and while this card isnt great in all decks it certainly is almost a must in decks like MUC that can recover the card disadvantage.. or Red Decks that want to drop that turn 1 slith

speeds up decks like gob-vantage and gives blue a quick edge in a quicker format.. it is a must for extended tournament play

This card is great for mana acceleration, it doesn't have a place in every deck but it is fantastic in most decks.

By far the coolest mox. Multi-colored decks are getting spooky. If you have a foiled copy of this card, hang on to it!!!

a pretty good card, but the worst of the moxes. when using mox diamond, you have to discard only a basic land and you can tap it for mana of any color. this, to get the same resulst, you would have to discard a five colored card. basic land or five colored creature card. id take the land. even if the best you have to discard is a two colored card, i would discard the land.

It's not a bad card and has some uses, but at a significant cost.

It's nowhere near "power 9" level, though.

why isant this the power nine because nothing compares to the oroginal power. How can a 0 casting artifact that u have to ditch a card to get the mana be bad simple the oroginal moxes cost 0 but u dont have to ditch it

Worst of all mox's but still better than no mox's. Great card unfortunately it should have been the first mox made not the last one to date.

Granted The Chrome Mox does help in mana hungry decks, mainly blue, but I don't feel it's that great of a card. Now if we think playable, the best card in the set is The Isochron Scepter. The Mox is good for mana but that's it, the scepter is good for anything and everything. Thanks for hearing me out.

This card is useful in only some situations. I'd give it a 3.5. It wastes 8 slots unless it's just Shrapnel Blast food or Affinity. It's in way too many extended decks and costs you powerful cards you need to use.

Why is the value so high? Almost like a 'mox diamond' and similar to a 'lotus vale', there is a side-effect of this card. Consider this side effect, that it would vary from medium to great as it requires 'imprinting' of a variable card.
