the only singular land in this block(c. of kamigawa) that really resonates with me. gave me chills like someone had walked over my grave the first time i saw it. don't ask me why, i know its a bit silly. anyway, the art is awesome, although i have a couple of problems with it's execution that i'll mention. the first being the foreground of grass and stone, although the stone(s) seem to be some sort of motif throughout this block's 'plain's. not that they should have been ...in my humble opinion. less is more, and the foreground definitely needs to be "rubbed out." on a more minor note, the fourth and last tower fading into the horizon seems to be out of proportion (or proper perspective) to the other three. in conclusion, a "tour de force" of singular and unique vision, with a couple imperfections holding it tethered to the more mundane and lower planes.........................
