I also have played a wizard deck for years, through many diferent incarnations. This card is better for any type of wizard deck I've played than anything else. Better than Patron wizard, Azami, the voidmage prodigy. And with all the stuff in the new set.......

I've played a wizard deck since before all the recent tribal stuff started coming out. This card is by far the best card they could have ever printed for me.

Effectively a Wizard 'Lord'; but rather than having a static pump affect, it puts +1/+1 counters of them which rocks. I rarely use the cantrip ability, lest a particular wizard is going to die from something that I can't stop, then I use it. Otherwise I prefer keeping my wizards beefy and killing my opponent a bit more quickly.
