Sleeper Agent

I like to run with 3 things: Vampiric Link, Contaminated Bond, or Wall of Souls(as afore mentioned). It's great to Dark Ritual turn 1 with any one of the above. And one of my new finishers is Bloodchief Ascension, just need Contamination for a Black Lockdown and I could probably run in Legacy Tourneys.

Not the most solid card, but it has great flavor for a 1cmc card.

First turn Sleeper agent, they attack, next turn Meekstone.

First turn:dark ritual + sleeper agent + wall of souls /cheap combo ,nasty damage great card!

Sometimes used in mono-black bridge/grafted skullcap decks. Adds a faster clock to the game but giving opponents permanents can have drawbacks (if they have a beneficial way to sac it.)

i believe there used to be some sort of cheesy combo with this card. two damage a turn was nothing to sneeze at for one mana. however, there is the 3/3 to take into consideration. maybe someone will write in and refresh my fading memories of just what the deal was with this 'sleeper....'
